- With a background in teaching, Paula uses her in-depth listening skills and experience dealing with a range of people to identify her clients’ key needs. She then draws on her extensive network of contacts to ensure the best buyers or listings are located for you.
- Her strengths also are being detail-oriented and always operating with the utmost integrity. That means having a commitment to transparency, openness and honesty in all her dealings.
- Vendors know exactly what’s happening and buyers are always kept in the loop. Paula knows from experience that it isn’t worth making a sale if the vendor and purchaser aren’t happy – her goal is creating a result that is in everyone’s best interest.
- Paula creates marketing campaigns that are specifically tailored to a property. That means that she designs bespoke, not production line campaigns, that look at the unique selling features of any property.
On certain listings Paula partners up with her personal partner, husband Roger Stringfield, also a highly regarded residential real estate consultant for UP. This provides clients a choice, as well as the full scope of skills they combine as a dynamic duo (they respect each other’s input and ideas also!).
Behind the scenes
The UP team meets three times a week to discuss every property being listed, where it gives Paula the opportunity to discuss potential offers, new properties coming on the market as well as discussing buyer requirements.
Day to day, she meets vendors and purchasers, goes out to look at newly listed properties, phones buyers, organises viewings, manages photography for properties, draws up cost effective budgets, decides on media, proofs the website and ads, creates signs and flyers, organises open homes, and attends auctions. Paula also keeps up to date with what is happening both in the market and with legal issues. This requires constant training because legislation is changing constantly, and she must be informed to tell buyers/sellers.
Paula is a member of the REA and REINZ organisations.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and husband Roger. Her motto is ‘stay true to yourself’ and she practices this regularly at work.
